I remember seeing the Abarth 695 Edizione Maserati when it was first on public display at the Paris Motorshow in 2012, it looked great then and it looks great now! It is therefore with great pleasure that we can offer to the market this lovely low mileage example.
Finished in certainly the best of the two colours available on the model, Pontevecchio Bordeaux Maserati triple coat paint, with a contrasting Titanium Grey fabric soft top along with Maserati’s Trident design wheels also finished in Titanium grey – this model is surely one of the most stylish town cars money can buy and it is all topped off by the unique badging to the sides and rear.
It certainly wasn’t just about the looks though, this model benefits from Abarth’s 180 bhp output 1.4 T-Jet motor which is reserved for their most exclusive 695 models, or “Fuori Serie”. This is mated to an Abarth Competizione semi automatic 5 speed transmission controlled via paddles to the steering wheel, even the Abarth “Monza” exhaust has revised tailpipes to evoke the spirit of Maserati. This is all kept in check by Koni shock absorbers all round and big Brembo brakes!
Step inside over the carbon “Edizione Maserati” sill strips and the treats keep on coming, starting of course with the stunning Sand Leather trimmed seats. There are even some half leather floor mats with the leather section also in Sand Beige. The dashboard is trimmed in a unique matt carbon effect which is very stylish and goes wonderfully with all the other lovely details such as the 695 logoed headrests, aluminium pedals and unique two-tone paddle shift steering wheel. But, of course, maybe the most important item to the interior is the numbered plaque showing this car’s number out of the edition of 499 units, this is number 32.
